What to do with tool results

Once you have tool results, you can view them in a new window, download them to your computer and use them as input into another analytic tool.

To view tool results in a new window:

1. Start from an executed tool.
2. Open the Tool Results drop–down menu at the bottom of the tool form.
3. You'll see one or more result files.
4. Select the desired file and click View Results.
5. A window will open displaying tool results.

To download tool results to your computer:

1. Start from an executed tool.
2. Open the Tool Results drop–down menu at the bottom of the tool form.
3. You'll see one or more result files.
4. Select the desired file and click View Results.
5. A window will open displaying tool results.
6. Click the "Download/View This PDF File" link in the upper left corner.
7. In the open dialog box, choose where you want to save the file.

To use a tool result file as input into another tool:

1. Make sure you've executed a tool, as the results of the executed tool are needed for input.
2. Open the tool you wish to run.
3. The tool's form will open in the right panel.
4. Go to the Input Data section near the top of the form and select “Use previously executed tool results."
5. In the associated drop–down menus, select the previously executed tool and the result file you want to input.
6. Click Execute and wait for the tool to complete.
7. View the results in the Tool Results drop-down menu.
